Ashtrom Group invests heavily in research, development, and the adoption of innovative solutions in the construction sector, recognizing innovation as a key driver of long-term success. Ashtrom Industries plays a central role in advancing the Group's green certification goals by developing construction products that minimize environmental impact and improve energy efficiency, such as solvent-free waterproofing and high-insulation gypsum blocks. These products meet strict green building standards and help reduce the carbon footprint of buildings.
Development and Planning of Green-Certified Properties
Ashtrom Group develops a wide range of green, accessible, and energy-efficient properties that meet the highest construction standards. Ashtrom Residences, Ashtrom Properties, and Ashtrom Residences for Rent design and market residential, office, commercial, and industrial buildings across Israel in line with both Israeli and international green building standards. Ashtrom Properties promotes the design of commercial buildings with a GOLD LEED rating and above, while Ashtrom Construction executes projects in compliance with leading green construction standards.
Smart and Efficient Property Management
Ashtrom Properties, Ashtrom Residences for Rent, Ashtrom Concessions, and Ashtrom International manage a wide range of residential, commercial, and industrial properties in Israel and worldwide. With a focus on tenant needs and community life, the group prioritizes service excellence while streamlining operations through sustainable practices—implementing energy management systems, solar panels, efficient lighting, and EV charging infrastructure.
Reducing Emissions and Advancing Renewable Energy
Ashtrom Group’s renewable energy division was established to lead initiatives that reduce reliance on fossil fuels by investing in renewable energy. The company is advancing solar and wind projects across Israel, the U.S., and Poland, with a planned total capacity of 2,086 MW. In 2024, the Tierra Bonita solar facility in Texas began operations, generating approximately 400 MW and cutting greenhouse gas emissions by around 400,000 tons annually.
Decarbonization Plan
In 2024, we established an environmental policy and comprehensive decarbonization plan to significantly reduce the Group’s environmental impact. The plan outlines clear, sustainable guidelines tailored to all areas of activity, with a focus on reducing Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions. It includes defined targets and interim milestones to support progress toward our long-term environmental goals.
